Pet Guidelines

As photographers, we know how much joy pets bring to portrait sessions, and we're happy to accommodate them at Studio Borealis. To ensure a smooth and successful shoot for everyone, please share these guidelines with your clients:

Vaccinations

All furry friends must be current on their vaccinations (rabies, distemper, and parvovirus are typically required).

Leash & Harness

Securely leashed or harnessed pets are welcome. Pets may be unleashed while being photographed but must be leashed and attended to at all other times.

Direct Supervision

Clients are responsible for actively supervising their pets at all times. Unattended or disruptive behavior may result in the termination of the session.

Cleanup Responsibility

Prompt and thorough cleanup after the pet is expected, including fur, messes, and any unforeseen surprises. We provide cleaning supplies, but a minimum $50 cleaning fee will be invoiced for excessive mess or damage caused by pets.

Furniture

To maintain the condition of our fabric-covered furniture, please keep your pets off all upholstered surfaces.

Clean paws

To protect our delicate floors and furniture, please ensure the pet's paws are clean and dry before entering the studio. Wet or muddy paws require thorough cleaning before proceeding into the studio.

Cyclorama Rules

The Cyclorama is a delicate backdrop. Paws should stay grounded unless you receive specific written permission before your session.

Number of Pets

To maintain a comfortable studio environment, a maximum of two furry friends per session is recommended.

Maintaining these expectations results in a hazard-free, efficient, and delightful photo session for all!
